3d leisure have completed the acquisition of the Yourzone45 franchise from Elms Fitness Group for an undisclosed sum. Elms , led by industry veterans Andy Kay, Mhairi Fitzpatrick and Jeremy Taylor, have spent the last 5 years developing the concept and growing the franchise network.

We are now reviewing the current franchisee support offered to see where we can add more value and we are hoping to develop the product and service and we will aim to grow the network through engaging with more fitness entrepreneurs around the UK.

YZ45 is a 45-minute HIIT class programme where the workout is split into a number of blocks, each comprising a 4-9 minute routine with rests in between. Utilising Myzone technology, to enable the instructor to monitor exercisers heart rate zones, each workout integrates cardio and resistance training into one interval workout, increasing and decreasing the heart rate and challenging the body and kickstarting the metabolism into overdrive. Studios range in size from 1,500 to 3,000 square feet with classes catering for up to 20 participants.  Paul Dickinson (Operations Director)  said ” the YZ brand is really cool and with some effective promotion campaigns and a focussed sales strategy, we are looking forward to help grow the franchisees business”
