3d leisure’s Managing Director to cycle Land’s End to John o’Groats!
In April this year 3d leisure’s Managing Director, Mark Bremner, will be taking on the huge challenge of cycling Land’s End to John o’Groats in 6 days!
The LEJOG cycle ride is the Grand Daddy of all cycling challenges in the UK – “End to End” is approximately 975 miles usually taking 9 to 14 days to cycle. Mark and 3 friends will be aiming to complete the journey in just 6 days, averaging 162 miles per day.
This will be a real physical and mental challenge but Mark has been training hard and will be doing it to raise money for a very worthy charity – Multi System Atrophy Trust. Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) is a neurological disorder that affects adult men and women and can result in problems with movement, balance and autonomic functions of the body. The Trust’s mission is to find the cause and, ultimately, cure for MSA.
The team at 3d leisure are fully behind Mark and have been supporting him whilst he’s been out training in the cold weather! We will be keeping track of his progress and fundraising and wish him the best of luck for the challenge!
