3d leisure hosts ‘Big Red Class’ for Comic Relief 2023
On Friday 17th March 3d leisure were joined by over 8,000 children taking part in a virtual PE class, all in aid of Comic Relief. Debbie Savage, a 3d leisure personal trainer, instructed the event from her studio in Scotland, which was streamed into classrooms across the UK via Microsoft Teams.
The event, which has now taken place for the last 3 years, was entitled the ‘Big Red Class’, with children encouraged to wear red, and donate £1 each for taking part.
This year’s event saw press, and radio, coverage for the company, who worked closely with the team at Comic Relief in order to make it as successful as possible for all involved. Andy Rudkin (3d leisure Digital Marketing Manager) coordinated the event and was proud of what the company had achieved, yet again –
‘As we entered our 3rd year doing this event you always worry that the momentum may be lost, but quite the opposite. Comic Relief were great in helping us promote the event; and seeing that many children enjoying exercise at the same time is always an amazing moment. Roll on 2024!’
